Karesuando Winter Giron

Giron is the Sami word for ptarmigan. The shape of the handle and the wing on the sheath allude to the beautiful bird. Handmade hunting knife with a short blade of stainless steel and an elegant finish. The handle is of light curly birch with elements of reindeer antler and brass, and is shaped so that the knife sits securely in the hand. The knife comes in a traditional black leather sheath with a loop in reindeer leather which makes it easy to carry even when moving in nature or sitting down.
